Much history goes along with the name Miller Bean. When the family started their venture into undertaking they had long been operating a general store on one side of the building, a wholesaler of wines and liquers on the other side and a large livery service in the rear. Prior to locating on Cedar Avenue, they were located where the Lackawanna County Courthouse currently stands. According to ledger books the livery service at one time employed over fifty men. Although the property has undergone many additions and renovations over the years, we are still located in the same building at the same address.
We provide our families with an open door policy. Please feel free to contact us 24 hours a day.
