We live up the road from Dakota and over the past years we have come to know him as the sweet boy who would walk up and down the road often. He would always greet us with a big smile and a kind wave. If he saw me bringing in boxes or bags from my car as he passed he would always rush over to help. Recently he stopped by a few times because he was excited about his new lawn work business and he was trying to drum up business. He would always keep in touch via text to see if we needed anything. He clearly had a strong desire to work hard and make something for himself. My heart aches knowing we will never see him or his smile walking along our road anymore. My family and I were devastated to hear the news of his passing and I know that I speak for my entire family when I say we wish we had gotten to know him better in his time here. Our deepest condolences go out to his family. Heaven has a new angel and I have no doubt his light will shine just as bright there as it did here.
