Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Frank J. And Angelina Summa Koloras. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Class of 1977 and of Empire Beauty School. She was the proprietor of her own beauty shop in South Scranton for many years, as long as a sales associate for Sally Beauty Supply, and most recently as a senior companion for Telespond at the South Side and West Side Senior Center.
Fran was a friend to everyone she met, always had a smile on her face and always left a lasting impression on those she met for the first time. She always put everyone before herself and made sure someone had a ride, food, or someone just to listen.
She loved spending time with friends and family, even if it was just sitting on the porch talking to her wonderful neighbors who were like family to her.
The greatest gift she was ever given, was becoming an Aunt and God mother to Michael Francis. Not a day would go by that she would ask what he needed or what he was going to need, and would always say what happens at Aunt Franny's stays at Aunt Franny's.
She will be missed by all.
She was a member of St Paul of the Cross Parish.
Surviving are sister Maria McKeel and husband Michael, Scranton; nephew Michael Francis McKeel; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
