Richard J. Lombardo Sr. of Jermyn died Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at home. His wife of 42 years is the former Wendy Conway.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Richard M. and Angeline Ventura Lombardo. A graduate of Scranton Central High School and Keystone College, before retirement, he was the owner of a local Dunkin’ Donuts franchise. A great and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Also surviving are sons, Richard Jr., Scranton; and Dylan, Scranton; granddaughters, Aubrey, Addison and Alivia Lombardo, Jermyn; sister, Mary Jane Skies, Blakely; sisters-in-law, Peggy Hildebrand and husband, Lloyd; Donna Gavern and husband, Louie; Marcy and Bob Palmitessa; brothers-in-law, Irv Conway and wife, Joan; Craig Conway and wife, Debbie; canine friend, Beau; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lombardo; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Ceil Conway.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 4 p.m. in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton. Friends and family may pay their respects Monday from 2 p.m. until time of services. Social distancing guidelines will be enforced and masks will be required.
